The Ledger is the publication's primary trust artefact: a single page where any reader can verify whether a piece's central assertion is still standing. Each row links to the source article and to the per-claim detail page; nothing is hidden behind a paywall or removed.

Etymology

Internal name for the /holding/ surface. Distinct from the /archive/ surface, which tracks claims made by *others* (vendors, analysts, regulators).
